Extract from Yachting World; At that moment, purely by chance a fax arrived from Nick Irving of Reliance Yacht Management giving some details of his delivery service. As his company delivers a large number across the Atlantic each year his credentials looked good, so i approached him for the job. Within days a skipper had flown out to St Lucia, two crew fresh from Tortola, BVI and they were on their way. About 30 days later almost to the promised minute Dash arrived in Dartmouth. The skipper produced a detailed condition report showing what worked (and what didn't) and Dash started a lengthy refit prior to sale. Expensive yae, but still less than the price i would have had to drop the price to sell in the Caribbean

He was also kind enough to include me in all aspects of the business of yacht delivery through which I hope I was able to make myself as useful as possible within my role as crew. I think we were probably subjected to the full range of weather conditions during the trip which, for a newcomer, was a quite an experience! We are delighted and impressed with the service from start to finish; your timely phone call and reassuring, can do attitude, your staff's prompt attention and the arrival of Thomas in such good time. We thought he was really excellent and a credit to you and UKSA. He was so careful and thoughtful. You cannot imagine how relieved I was when I gave him a cup of tea at breakfast and he reached straight for a table mat. Silly, I know, but it is such seemingly trivial things that make all the difference to me. The questions he asked during the handover quickly put our minds at rest, ranging as they did from the technical to the domestic. We were quite relaxed during the time Starpilot was at sea because we knew she was in good hands. Thomas left the boat exactly as he found it, for which we are so grateful.
